Food Run and Photo Fun
Sunday, March 7, 2010 at 3:21PM This day at ye olde Otterbein United Methodist Church, we were prepping for our semi-annual food run. This is an event in which the church prepares hundreds of bag lunches, as well as many crock pots of a secret recipe stew which is served to the homeless and less fortunate in our city. In between helping prepare bag lunches for this, I drew my camera and fired off a bunch of various shots to document the event.
This is my first experience taking pictures of people really. Excluding your generic family photos of course. But I am pleased to say it is very rewarding. Some of the shots you can get in these situations are really quite amazing.
The shots are here on the site of course, under the Events and Photojournalism gallery. Also on the Flickr as always.
