Playing a bit this week for a change.

Had a rehearsal tonight with "The Faux Minx", a group in Lancaster. We ran some tunes, and it was a good time. They have a piano player, which I must say, is so refreshing. Haven't played with a piano player in literally 8 years I think.

I didn't play all to well tonight, and I think it was because work took a lot out of me today. But I don't want to make excuses. I played good, just not at the level I wanted to. Since I'll be hitting the gig on Thursday straight out of work, I'll be sure to get to bed earlier than normal tomorrow night.

These guys are a really solid group, really good attitudes, and I couldn't be more thankful that they are letting me sit in with them this week. Because I've been focusing more on playing this week, I probably won't be shooting photos again till this weekend. But as long as I'm doing one or the other, I can't complain.

Another little side note. My friend Gerry Evans, a bass player in the area, helped talked me through adjusting my bass over the phone, and the thing plays like a dream now. So thanks Gerry, you, as always, are the man.
